Helsingborgs Vinhus is a small family owned company which was established 1999. The aim has always been and is still to find very good European vineyards which are producing high quality wines. We try to keep a very good service towards our customers who are partly restaurants and partly private persons. To private persons the sales must still go through the Swedish monopoly (Systembolaget). Our big interest in wine started during our travels by car in Europe as we often visited vineyards to taste their wines. It was very exciting every time and very often even very tasty. It was Svend who first came up wih the idea that we should start to import wine. We already had a company in the computer branch but we thought that it would be OK with two companies. We very soon realized that wine was a very special product, sometimes it was food and sometime a drug. It took some time to get all permits but we did not give up and finally we were approved in every aspect. We started to import from France. Today apart from many regions in France we have wines from Germany, Austria, Italy and Spain. We have visited all our suppliers and many of them have even become our personal friends. We always follow their production and know about their ups and downs. If you want to contact us we speak English, German and un petit peu Francais. During the autumn 2011 we have established a cooperation with Bergs Vinhandel in Gothenburg, so we are very much looking forward to a successful future. Eva and Svend
